Van Alphen Soft Fruit Plants was originally a small family company which specialised in the production of strawberries. In the early 80’s Van Alphen started with the commercial propagation of strawberry plants. Since 1996 Van Alphen has stopped the production of strawberries and is fully specialised in the propagation of Strawberry Plants.
We are a medium size propagator, specialising in strawberry plants. It is a close company that has all its crop stages in house. Currently we have 20 different varieties in our range. Every year we buy about 280 new plants from the original stock of the NAKT and in 3 years we multiply 20.000.000 plants from it.
We do not sell to private individuals.

Cultivation
In recent years, Van Alphen Soft Fruit Plants has implemented and intensified a number of strict hygiene measures, perfected cultivation technical measures and expanded the assortment with several new varieties and plant types.
Plant types
All the different plant types are raised with the utmost care for quality and hygiene within our company and are all derived from BM-2 mother plants.
Varieties
Van Alphen is part of Fragaria Holland. Fragaria Holland BV wants to contribute to the success of strawberry growers by informing them about the growing techniques to obtain optimal results with the varieties they propagate and the varieties of Fresh Forward in particular.
